Every dollar raised supports our regional hospital.

The new Critical Care Tower is under construction.  This major expansion includes a new emergency department for children that will open this October, 2013.  To celebrate our community support, watch for planters filled with Princess Irene tulips each April at Surrey Memorial Hospital and many other locations around Surrey.

Schools may participate by purchasing tulip bulbs in September or October and planting them around the school campus.  A package of 10 bulbs is $10 and all funds raised go towards medical equipment for the Critical Care Tower.  Last fall, Hillcrest Elementary purchased 600 tulip bulbs ($1.00 per student) and planted them for a gorgeous tulip display this spring.
