Coast Capital Savings donates over $7,000 to SMH ER

Surrey, BC - Coast Capital Savings recently donated $7,624 to the Emergency Department at Surrey Memorial Hospital. The donation represents proceeds from their 5th Annual Multicultural Gala which was held on September 23, 2005 at the Mirage Banquet Hall in Surrey. The event included cultural performances and food.

Surrey Memorial Hospital's emergency department provides care for almost 70,000 patients a year - in a 20 year-old facility that was designed for just 44,000 annual visits. With the city's tremendous growth, Surrey Memorial Hospital is now home to the busiest emergency department in BC, and one of the busiest in all of Canada.
