London Drugs collects toonies for Surrey Memorial Hospital in November
Surrey, B.C. – Six London Drugs locations are collecting donations for Surrey Memorial Hospital Foundation during the month of November.
Every Surrey-based London Drugs store - as well as locations in North Delta, Langley, and South Surrey - are taking part in the fundraising drive.
By scanning a coupon at checkout, customers can add a toonie ($2) to their purchase in support of Surrey Memorial Hospital at the following retail stores:
• Cloverdale: 17685 – 64th Avenue
• Guildford Town Square: 2340 Guildford Town Centre
• Langley: 20202 – 66th Avenue
• London Station, Surrey: 10348 King George Highway
• Peninsula Village Mall, South Surrey: 100 – 15355 – 24th Avenue
• Scott 72 Mall, Delta: 7303 – 120th Street
Established in 1992, Surrey Memorial Hospital Foundation has raised more than $45 million to purchase medical equipment, fund innovative programs, and support training and research. The Foundation is currently involved in its largest fundraising initiative ever, a campaign to raise $15 million to triple the size of the hospital’s Emergency Department.
The B.C. government has committed to funding the essentials of a replacement to Surrey Memorial Hospital’s current E.R. The Foundation’s $15-million campaign will ensure the new Emergency Centre is state-of-the-art.
