Save a Life 2010
The U17 Little Devils soccer girls put on a dinner and dance.  This year their event raised $17,655 towards their goal of purchasing an Omnibed Incubator for premature babies. 
 

The Hook and Ladder Pub annual duck race was held on April 25th.  Rubber ducks are floated down a stream - the first one across the finish line wins.  Owner Ellard Whallen presented a cheque from the proceeds to SMH Foundation for $3,000.  Thank you, Ellard!

Roots n' Rythms 2010 - this annual event is put on by graduating students of Queen Elizabeth Secondary School.  This year they raised $7,650 while putting on a multi-cultural show of dance, fashion and music.  Congratulations!

Mr. & Mrs. Perdue from the Cloverdale Seniors Centre present a cheque for $1,500 towards the Children's Health Centre.  Money was raised through 50 - 50 raffles, and they have donated over $11,000 since the year 2000.  Thank you for your gift!

Gordon Food Service has delivered a cheque for $3,687 to Surrey Memorial Hospital Foundation in support of the neonatal intensive care unit. GFS staff held a barbecue and 50/50 fundraiser, while the company itself matched the amount raised by employees.

The Sawmill Pub has held regular meat draws to support Surrey Memorial Hospital Foundation. Dayna Leverington & Ron Marbach presented the results - $5,020.  Thank you!

Shoppers Drug Mart representatives Betty Chow, Steven Lum, Ken Langevin, and Mustapha Olajuwon have delivered the results of the company’s Tree of Life campaign. The $10,678 raised last fall for Surrey Memorial Hospital Foundation will assist in purchasing breast MRI equipment.
